Blackaton Bridge Rocks

There is a group of large mossy rocks set in trees above the road on its south side to the west of Blackaton Bridge.

But whilst this small emergent outcrop is of little interest, its nearby cross is not. Sited some way up the road, opposite Blackaton House, Dartmoor Crosses tells us, "The cross is built into the roadside wall, with only the top of the shaft and one arm being visible. Unfortunately, the other arm and head are completely missing. As the shaft extends down inside the wall it is not possible to measure the full height of the cross."

This outcrop is accessible to the public.
