Huccaby House Tor

This fine small tor can be found within the private grounds of Huccaby House in the small hamlet of Huccaby (Huckaby), on the West Dart River.

Whilst it sits on Private Land, it can be seen from the road in winter months as a small ridge of cracked granite outcrops stretching down to the private drive.

Nearby, there is a stretch of the West Dart at Hexworthy Bridge, popular with paddlers and sightseers in summer for its deep pools; also near here can be found St. Raphael's Chapel, renowned for its vibrant Snowdrop display at the beginning of the year.

Warning! This outcrop is on private land, but it is visible from public land.
Should you wish to visit, always seek permission from the landowner.
