Aller Down Copse Tor

Within Aller Down Copse and still within the boundaries of Shaptor Wood, there is a fine stack of isolated granite. Tightly gripped by ivy and moss, this makes the tor quite colourful.

There are three main outcrops, two of which sit at the given Grid Ref of SX 8104 8022, the outlier being situated beside a broken wall at SX 8110 8024.

Walking around this stack of granite, the visitor will obtain a different perspective, the back side being overgrown, the front being more exposed.
