Deal Copse Tor
![]() This is an awesome, large granite slab which is located near the cafeteria and entrance at the Becky Falls woodland park on East Dartmoor. To visit, cross the bridge as you walk in, turn left (marked Blue Trail), and you'll soon notice this tor on the right. ![]() Its position is particularly striking as you begin your stroll along the pleasant Blue Trail. The tor sits in a clearing where there is ample room to admire its pointed top and rather slanted front face. Indeed, the outcrop is much more prominent than its nearby companion, Blue Trail Tor, which sits amid an overgrown section of the copse. ![]() Being located here means that the tor will not be at all obscured during the summer months, something most woodland tors suffer from. It is located in Deal Copse hence the name given here. ![]()
