Nat Tor (Tavy Cleave)

Nattor, Nattor Down, Gnat Tor

A rather flattened granite tor that is unfortunately left out of many walks through the cleave. So many will pass these interesting outcrops on the leat below but without paying a visit.

The tor consists of a flat top with great views of Ger Tor; lower down you will find a modest rock face with horizontal jointing in the granite. Although lacking direct interest from afar, this is a fine granite tor sheltered on its south side by the aforementioned rock face and is best accessed from Lane End, over the leat on a bridge, from the western side.
